In-Wall Infrared Receiver
This IR Receiver Wall Plate receives IR signals from a handheld infrared remote control and relays it to a Home Automation System or an IR Extender System (see below), which you can use to control your AV equipment from another room. The IR Receiver Wall Plate should be mounted to a standard single gang electrical box.

The cable you will need for connecting the IR Receiver Wall Plate to an IR System's Connecting Block is a 2 Twisted Pair wire, for example you could use Cat5 / Cat6 (network cable) or standard telephone wire. We have Cat6 network cable available in our store in lengths ranging from 15m to 45m.
