USB 2.0 Extension Cable
This USB 2.0 Type A Male to Type A Female Extension Cable is perfect for extending a USB cable. Ideal for use with devices / peripherals such as your mouse, keyboard, card reader, USB hub, flash drive / memory stick, MP3 player, printer, scanner, modem, digital camera and many other USB devices.
Tested to over 10 metres!
Technically, the maximum length of a USB 2.0 connection is 5 metres. However, we have successfully tested these cables by joining several USB cables together to lengths of at least 10 metres. We have no trouble transferring data between PCs and various peripheral devices over lengths of at least 10 metres. If data transfer is not required (ie: for devices which only use USB for a power source), it may be possible to achieve even longer useful distances.
